Martin Place Wedding: Steffie & Danny 1

We were lucky to capture some nice images of Danny and Steffie around the sandstone building of Martin Place. This is a popular place for wedding photos, with the nice bright yet earthy feel of the buildings and the play of light and shadow in the background.

Certainly, a fine look the bride’s dress. A staircase is often the best way to display this look.

The golden chandelier and light of the Highline venue. It’s a pleasure to take photos in such fine surroundings.

A red wedding dress for this bride at the start of the day. Why not have different traditions on the wedding day? There are some very fine-looking clothes to be found this way.

The bride descends the stairway, because that is how you make an entrance.

Such a warm look for this home reception. Those flowers look amazing.

The bride in window of the Rolls Royce, a fine image.

A happy spontaneous moment with the bride and the bridesmaids. Nice to have both that red dress and the white wedding dress here.

The white wedding dress – Wedding photographers look to have the right light through the windows, the right way to display the train, so as to capture the right look for the bride, her dress and the bouquet.

The groom has a toast with his groomsmen, because that is the atmosphere of a wedding.

Inside the St Felix church in Bankstown. A wonderful open feel to this church, but still with a sense of tradition.

Arriving in a Rolls Royce, a fine entrance for the bride.

That symmetrical photo we like to capture at the end of all wedding ceremonies, with the alter, the guests and the just married couple in the centre.

Out front of the Church, just the bride, groom and the wedding car. Potentially fine cover for a wedding photo album.

A few photos around Martin Place, with the bridesmaid and groomsmen.

The Head table at the Highline Venue. We love the colour décor here, soft white flowers, candles and that match the colour of the room.

The wedding cake in white and gold leaf. Again, this so matched the very fine colour scheme of the wedding reception.

We often have an image of the groom lifting the bride in the wedding photos, but the way the bride’s dress appears here is quite interesting.

The bride sees herself, her dress and bouquet in a mirror, something the wedding photographer often likes to catch. The three-ways mirror gives a nice effect.

The happy couple dance beneath a golden chandelier, a classic image for a wedding portrait.

Nice to capture the light, smoke, decorations, and that great chandelier as the newly married couple dance together. We like those light patterns on the floor.

The bride tosses the bouquet, a tradition we are glad to see continue.

All of us at Lightheart Wedding Photography Sydney wish Steffie and Danny the best for their future together.
